any recommendations for a very small bag to be used while wading? looking stuff one or two 3449 plano boxes and a few bags of plastics and maybe 1-2 jars of powerbait for trout. mainly looking to use this bag for small "panfish/trout? sized baits (mini tubes, grubs, 2" cranks etc.)

I have a Flambeau AZ3 small tackle bag that I got at Walmart. It works great for wading and it holds three small boxes and has a ton of other zipper and magnet flap pouches to store stuff. It lists for $30 but I got it for just under $20 at our local store.

My setup may not work for you but for my inshore fishing it's the best I've used. I have a fairly large fanny pack around my waist, it could be worn over the shoulder. I have 6 of this type of lure box inside http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/polybags-boxes/371111.aspx

I carry about 6 spoons, 6 bucktails, couple hard jerkbaits, a couple twitchbaits or topwater, storm wildeyeds and a few gotchas. In a second compart I have 2 spools of leader line, bag of swivels a few sinkers and hooks if decide to do some live bait fishing........way more stuff than I really need, I barely notice carrying it.

I don't wade fish anymore, but when I did I found the best method of tackle transport was a cheap fishing vest with lots of pockets.

That's what I use. It's perfect for creek fishing

I use my fly fishing chest pack when wading and it does a nice job. There are lots out there so just be sure to get one that fits your desired tackle box sizes and you will be golden.
