Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted March 7, 2010 Super User Posted March 7, 2010 has anyone used these , have you used the 8" one and how do they compare to Sebiles Magic Swimmer ??? Quote
ib_of_the_damned Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I have the 5" version, I know you are asking about the 8". I use the trout colored one, it has good action and swims like the magic swimmer. Its a poor mans magic swimmer. I have not caught anything on it as of yet, but have had a bird swoop down and grab it out of the water a couple times. I guess that says something about the lure. Hope I helped you out! Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted March 7, 2010 Author Super User Posted March 7, 2010 just might have to get one or two to see how they are , they are definitely cheap Quote
uicdent11 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Have never had good luck with any of the latest Storm products. I think there is a reason they are always in the bargain bins at Gander, Cabelas, and Bass Pro. I honestly think I donated all mine to a local charity for kids. Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted March 7, 2010 Author Super User Posted March 7, 2010 i some times like to experiment with baits , i don't usaully buy storm baits except for wiggle warts , but i figure if i don't like them , i give them out to some kids that fish where i fish in the summer months . i usually fish deep waters , but once in awhile i go to a place that is pretty shallow all around and these would be perfect for , i meen why spend twice as much for a Sebile magic swimmer that i won't fish that much and that this bait will work as or nearly as good !! i don't have a problem spending money on baits that cost $40.00 and up ( swimbaits ) but they are baits that i throw alot , so any how , i hope to hear more reveiws on this bait .......
