Skeet22 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Chartreuse /pepper plastics and those laminated swirl colors. Cant bring myself to even try them. I pretty much stick to natural colors even in clear water. Quote
von Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Firetiger doesn't produce much for me either but the very first lure I ever wanted was a firetiger Rat-l-trap! I like firetiger! ;D Color I don't like is the Rapala DT Bluegill....it looks nothing close to a bluegill! A buddy of mines kills them on that color but it's so ugly I won't throw it. Quote

Thats strange, because when I was 17, I had a friend take me to the sporting goods store and he told me to pick 1 lure out for my birthday. I picked out a 1/4 oz FIRETIGER Rattlin Rapala...Its a color I have grown to hate, dont ask me why I picked it out... Quote
Rebbasser Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Firetiger and clown. Never caught anything on either color. Quote
airborne_angler Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 Some soft plastics have a color called Electric Chicken...That color makes my stomach turn. Quote
NOVA Angler Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I'm suprised about all the hate for firetiger. My favorite crankbait is a Baby -1 Minus in Firetiger. Quote
Stringjam Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I must reiterate . . firetiger is probably my favorite color in life. There are so many variations of it as well...... This is kind of my version of a bluegillish tiger. Not a true firetiger, but definitely influenced by. Quote

That bottom one ain't no firetiger...That resembles a lot more like a green sunfish. That has to be one of the nicest paint job I've seen in awhile...WOW! Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I do well with firetiger around NoVa and the muddy streams in the spring. The color I can't buy a bite on is that doggone black/blue combo... One of the most popular color schemes nationwide and I can't get a nibble on it... I'm a glutton for punishment though, and bought three more black/blue jigs at Gander the other day... Quote
