Xbox. Had a PS1 and 2 before I started playing my little brothers Xbox. Got my own and haven't looked back. I actually haven't played PS3 so I can't really offer any comparison though. Just my oppinion.

As long as were talking videogames, I don't know how many people realize this but Rapala made a couple fishing games. Never played them and Im not sure about the name. They're definitly made for Xbox. Not sure about PS3.

I have both. I am more of play for a hour then get bored guy. The ps3 is better in graphics and a better controller. Also if you only play on line maybe a few times a month. The ps3 is free. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles the Xbox has. I never use them any way. Also if you need a bigger hard drive. You can go to best buy and buy one.

Xbox has so many apps its not even funny. The market place is far better. But I still hate the controller, paying to play online, and not being able to buy crap with real money. I have to by Microsoft points.

In my eyes. One is not better then the other. It all depends on what you want it to do.

I prefer xbox, the multiplayer base is more vast than psn. Psn is free though and thats always nice. In my experience the ps3 is more prone to bugs and freezing over periods of time due to poor cooling. But that's just my opinion.

360, you'll get over paying the price for online play once you compare it to PS3's PSN. I will say I hate the fact that you have to buy MS points to buy things, but I never buy things, so it's not an issue.

Plus I HATE the PS controller. I cant stand it. 360 controllers are far superior in my eyes. Plus you can't play cool games like Halo and stuff on ps3.

IMO, Xbox > PS all day.

i am on my 4th XBOX 360 since they came out. I always buy a warranty with it, but i sitll have to pay to have it replaced or fixed. I get the red lights of death. My PS3 is really all i ever play anymore. I dont go on the internet with it or anything, but gameplay is great. My 360 has froze up on me countless times, my PS3 only once. I was getting so frustrated with my 360 breaking or freezing that i havent played it in over a year.

As far as the Xbox controller goes, I didn't like it at first because I was so used to playing Playstation. It just took some getting used to. Feels natrual now. As far as the Xbox breaking down goes, in 3 years, I haven't had any of the 'Red Ring of Death' issuses. Only problem I had was that after 2 years, the disc tray went up. As far as buying Microsoft points, you can buy them on the Xbox marketplace with your credit card. Its not like you have to run out to Gamestop everytime you need Microsoft points.

I had mine for 2 years then it red ringed. My first two years I had Xbox expose out in the opening with air constantly circulating around it. Then two months before it red ringed I had it moved to a enclosed area where behind the Xbox it lacks air flow and the system overheated. Could it be possible you put the Xbox in a space where it lacked air flow? i had the Xbox fix by some local guy rather than going through Microsoft and I've since placed the Xbox back on an area with constant air flow and yet to red ring..Same Xbox too....

You haven't played a PS3, but you're saying Xbox is better.

Makes sense.

Not really saying ones better than the other. Just saying that I have an Xbox and I really like it and haven't really had any problems with it. After having Playstations for years, the change was kind of refreshing. Also most of my friends had Xboxes so from a multiplayer stand point it made more sense.
