I do not use the skirt hubs. I use regular skirts and tie them directly to the weights collars with either wire or you can tie them with thread. Your choice.

I just put the skirt in the rubber collar. Then put the skirt on the punch hub with the rubber collar. Move the rubber collar out of the way and wire tie and then remove the rubber collar. Its actually really easy. If you want to thread tie, i dont know the best way for that. But i suggest using wire, that way you can hold the hub and tighten the wire with the other hand and then pliers.

Punch hubs are put in between your 1 ounce weight and hook for punching through matted vegetation. They give you the bulky skirted presentation while still being able to slip through the matts easily, as well as something that will click and clack.

A-Jay !? What's it's used on/for?? Remember, I'm old, you need to lead me by the hand.........

The hub is used to hold / mount a skirt on.

Once a skirt is mounted on the hub, the hub is placed between a pegged bullet weight and the Texas Rigged plastic of your choice.

The resulting rig is a very weedless and a super versatile bait.

I'm a huge fan.

Really, I learned something new today :) I don't think I've seen that before, or if I did, I didn't know how it was ridged. I've only punched through mats with TX rigged worms or weedless jigs with a verity of soft plastics.

Thanks :eyebrows:

iv even carolina rigged a punch skirt. Tie a normal c rig, with the skirt on the main line, then put on ur swivel and i usually only use a 5-8 inch leader. this is a good presentation with a float tube or beaver. It looks amazing in the water.
