Super User retiredbosn Posted November 16, 2012 Super User Posted November 16, 2012 I broke down and bought tickets for the latest installment of the Twilight series. The bride is excited, and I'll get some movie popcorn out of the deal plus a few hours alone time, that's a rare thing when u have four kids, lol. Going to the 11 o'clock showing tonight. 1 Quote

Super User retiredbosn Posted November 16, 2012 Author Super User Posted November 16, 2012 Gotta be better than last year took her to see ballet! Now I'm a country boy as simple as dirt, man was I out of place:-) Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 16, 2012 Global Moderator Posted November 16, 2012 Not worth it. No "pay off" is worth sitting through that crap. Thankfully my wife isn't in to that stuff. Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted November 16, 2012 Super User Posted November 16, 2012 Man, my wife is "NUTTS" over this stuff, she asked if I wanted to go, nope !!!, I'm goin fishin !!!!.....Brownie points or not, fishing is one sure way I know I am getting something wet and being rewarded for it !! 1 Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted November 16, 2012 Author Super User Posted November 16, 2012 Y'all need to get your minds out if the gutter, lol. I'm thinking more like my favorite meal, a day off, a new set up for fishing. This one wasn't bad, lot of fights between the wolves and vampires, different alliances, etc. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted November 16, 2012 Super User Posted November 16, 2012 My wife went with some friends and I stayed home with the kids. 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted November 16, 2012 Super User Posted November 16, 2012 Hmmm. Good idea. "Here hon, advanced tickets for that Twilight movie thing...you can even take your BFF!" That's money in the bank, man. If it ain't Twilight, there's gotta be something. A 30 minute massage, facial, bottle of her fav wine. There's always something that lets a dude out of the dog house. RyneB Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 mine went last night, although she doesnt like Twilight. Her friend is single and didnt want to go alone. I sat in my recliner, had a few IPAs and watched the Bulls get killed by the Clippers. Little slice of heaven, minus the Bulls losing. Quote
