Super User Redlinerobert Posted November 14, 2012 Super User Posted November 14, 2012 Just received these pics, thought I'd share here. He's a HUGE NASCAR fan, somehow won this Corvette and sent me pics of Jeff signing over title. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted November 14, 2012 Super User Posted November 14, 2012 Holy Smokes ! ! ! Now that's what I call a Great Door Prize ! A-Jay Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted November 14, 2012 Super User Posted November 14, 2012 Sweet! Signing over titles is like getting divorced all over again, haha. 1 Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 When I was real young I LOVED Jeff Gordon, here is a pic from when I was 4years old..... Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted November 14, 2012 Super User Posted November 14, 2012 very cool! I imagine Jeff only drove it to church on Sunday mornings, so it probably doesn't have any real wear... 1 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted November 15, 2012 Super User Posted November 15, 2012 Nice car. Be even nicer if I knew who the hell Jeff Gordon is. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted November 15, 2012 Super User Posted November 15, 2012 Nice car. Be even nicer if I knew who the hell Jeff Gordon is. Some dude with two first names. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted November 15, 2012 Author Super User Posted November 15, 2012 The car has 550 miles on the odo. Although I'm not a Corvette fan, I wouldn't say no to a free car. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted November 17, 2012 Super User Posted November 17, 2012 Some dude with two first names. Hey now I got 2 first names actually 3 but I don't make my middle name known. I get asked all the time if George is really my last name lol and it is pronounced George or Jorge like I'm Mexican. Now Robert did he win it or buy it after the little scuffle Gordon just had on the track . Me I was always a Mark Martin fan he drove that car extra hard.......lets see how many make the connection lol Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted November 18, 2012 Author Super User Posted November 18, 2012 Not sure on details yet. He owns a propane fuel company so he could have easily wrote a check for it. Quote
scrutch Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 That would be one to hermetically seal and store in a barn. The value of that car will be off the charts someday, especially with the provenance he has to go with it. Not everyday you see a title with an autograph of a famous racecar driver on it. The perfect heirloom to pass on to the grand kids! Quote
Super User South FLA Posted November 22, 2012 Super User Posted November 22, 2012 I'd trade it in for an open fisherman. Quote
