angler1 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 would be the best lure selection for water temp in the upper 40's? Where I am @ its going to be in the 50's outside all weekend and I can't decide wether to throw a hard suspending jerkbait, lipless crank bait, a jig, or something else? Normally I would bring all 3 but my time is limited. What do you think would be most productive. I know I did not describe the lake conditions, its b/c I am not sure where I am going so just take the water temp in the upper 40's into consideration please. Thanks all. Quote
IwillChooseFreeWill Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Keep your options open... try slow retrieve of lipless cranks, try deeper jigs with a twitch every minute or two, try deep and shallow senkos... Quote
Rebbasser Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I'd still take all of them. My first inclination is a suspending jerkbait, especially in water that cold. Quote
hmongkidBee Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I like to use lipless cranks if your time is limited. Quote
