bronzebackhuntr Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I have a tournament this coming Saturday and have done some practicing over the last 2 weeks. I have found something very strange and was wondering if anyone would have an insight into why the fish may be doing this. Water temps are 60 degrees, deep clear highland resivoir, catching smallies in 90 ft of water. Any idea in the fall why they are that deep? Quote

South Holston is a fishery all it's own, but does have many similar traits to DH. Ever fish a damiki down there on DH? Takes an 1/8 Oz lead head close to a minute to fall that far. Quote

They suspend really deep in the winter at Table Rock under the schools of shad. All you had to do is find the schools of shad and that's where the fish are. Quote
