livetofish28 Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I fish shaky head a lot and swear by the Jethro Ellie may worm in green pumpkin I just wanted to see what some of your favorite plastics for shaky head are? Quote
Goose21 Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Zoom Magnum trick worm, or mag finesse worm. Also, the yum ed shaky head (I use 3/8-5/8) rigged with a 10" rage thumper worm is rigged up at all times on my boat. Hop it slow, you will find keeper sized fish. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 11, 2012 Global Moderator Posted November 11, 2012 Zoom trick worm or finesse worm, Netbait T-mac. Quote
BenBassmaster Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Zoom trick worm or finesse worm. I have buddies that use the Paca Craw on shakey heads and catch tons of fish with it. I think it's in pumpkin color. Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted November 11, 2012 Super User Posted November 11, 2012 Yamamoto pro senko and the roboworm 6 and 7 inch straight tail worms. After these the zoom trick worms and Berkley floating worms would be next in line. Quote
TNBassin' Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I fish shaky head a lot and swear by the Jethro Ellie may worm in green pumpkin I just wanted to see what some of your favorite plastics for shaky head are? Believe it or not, the best producing worm I've used on a shaky head has been the Yum F2 ribbon tail slightly trimmed down. Also, the Kriet Squirrel Tail worm by Big Bite is awesome as well. 1 Quote
11justin22 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I haven't had good luck with straight tailed worms. Have had better luck with small ribbon tail worms though. Fished a tournament with a guy last month that used a ultravibe speed craw on a shakey head and did pretty good. Quote
loodkop Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Squirrel tails in green pumkin and black for numbers. 10 inch ribbontails for size. Quote

Knightiac Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Berkley bottom hoppers. Basically a zoom trick but a little softer. The expanded tail floats. Really nice action. Quote
kylek Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I plan on using some Zoom Trick worms when I do. I have heard good things about them. Quote

SAC2 Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Those baits have won me a lot of money this year.. shakey heads are a clutch bait for me and seem to be a huge confidence bait for a lot of guys. i normally dont leave for a trip without that exact worm tied on to one of my rigs with a 1/8 oz shakey head. i have also been diggin roboworms lately, but they are tough to find around my parts. another sleeper shakey head bait i have used is a super fluke..... bassr95 Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Kicker Fish Hightail Holeshot Shakey worm. It literally floats off the bottom indefinitely, and it seems to outproduce other worms on a shakeyhead. 1 Quote
