Before I go, I should say that I love camping and fishing. I know just enough to survive some salt and fresh water, love to fish rivers or creeks but around my house what I have is some comunity lakes, they are great for some fishing after work.

You will see me around !!! :respect-059:

Welcome WDinarte. Being in the Northern VA area you'll have a lot of opportunities to fish some fine waters. Look to both the Southeast and Northeast Forums for threads you may find interesting.

@ Eric

Yes, we have some great waters around here. My " best " luck this year was some of ponds around my area. The Potomac is a challenger river for me, by now I'm one more "river bank " angler but I do have fun.
