SGT Rico Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Man what a bait. Today I went fishing even though the wind was blowing and howling like crazy so my expectations where not very high to start it. I caught one fish on a crankbait and I decided to pack it in due to the high wind. Getting back to Keitech, this swimbait has the best action I've ever seen in this style of swimbaits. Its just mind boggling on how stable this lure is without a keel weight. I did not catch a thing with it today, but had a couple of big Bass follow it back to the boat. I used a revenge XL swimbait head, and I also rigged it texas style. I know this bait is going to produce its just a matter of time. I wish I would have discovered this bait during summer time. Oh well, I'll keep chucking it til it produces. 1 Quote
YOman! Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 The keitech is deadly for bass. Ive seen it do its magic. Quote
thehooligan Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I really like the keitech easy shiner, do pretty well with the 4inch on the swarming hornets and owner flashy swimmer. Im gonna order up some 5inch shiners next time at TW, really like the ayu and wakasagi colors. Quote
hookset on 3 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Sarge, I've been burning them on a 1/2 jighead and they are crushing it. Speed kills! Good luck, hookset on 3 Quote
bkohlman Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I think I need to try one out! Could I use one as a swim jig trailer? Quote
jeb2 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Shhhhh! Those darn baits don't work at all! Probably been my #1 producer the last couple of weeks here in the Ozarks, just swimming it on a light jighead. 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 31, 2012 Super User Posted October 31, 2012 The 1/4 oz swim bait jig heads are perfect. Quote
HookSetDon Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 caught the one in my pic dragging a 4" keitech on a football Quote
Vinny Chase Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I love the bait as well, but they rip beyond mend-it repair on only a few bass...I have switched over to Big Hammer swimbaits and could not be happier. Quote
jeb2 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Yeah, they are frail, no doubt. Like Senkos. One fish baits. It helps a LOT to superglue them to the jig heads the night before. Quote
Super User webertime Posted October 31, 2012 Super User Posted October 31, 2012 Someone quick pick a fight and talk about Shimano and get this thread locked and deleted! Nobody need concern themselves with the Keitech. 1 Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted July 2, 2013 Super User Posted July 2, 2013 I recently discovered Keitech Easy Shiners and they are an absolute K-I-L-L-E-R ... no ... I mean they suck! Don't buy them. Quote
CPBassFishing Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Can you fish these weightless on an EWG hook without them rolling? Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted July 2, 2013 Super User Posted July 2, 2013 According to their videos you can. I haven't tried it though. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted July 2, 2013 Super User Posted July 2, 2013 Can you fish these weightless on an EWG hook without them rolling? I have fished the regular swing impact(not fat) on worm hooks with light spinning gear for white bass without issue Quote
