Winter's closing in around here. That brings with it the onset of "cabin fever". My question is: .......how far south do I have to travel for some good bass fishing this winter? What I have in mind is,3-4 day trips. I don't want to tow my boat, just take my tackle. Now that I have the time, this idea seems more attractive. Does anyone have suggestions from personal experience?.........Thanks for the help.

As long as there isn't an ice coating on the water, continue fishing right where you are. I do. :)

You might do a search if you have any power plant lakes close by with warm water discharge. They usually provide good fishing all winter long for all different species.
