scrutch Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I'm traveling with my wife to Ithaca because she has to do some business there and i need to find something to do. We will be flying in Thursday nite 11/15, doing the business Friday till noon or so, and then it's play time until we fly out on Sunday 11/18. I can do internet researsh to find things to do, but that isn't as good as local information from my BR buddies! Quote

ClackerBuzz Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 lol in everyone's defense its not like we are talking about new york city. few people are from there and its a very small town. there aren't that many options.. let alone recommendations. i'm sure you'll have a great trip. are you gonna fish!?! Super User Bankbeater Posted October 29, 2012 Super User Posted October 29, 2012 You can always get on the internet and look up things to do in your home town. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted October 30, 2012 Super User Posted October 30, 2012 I have been to Ithaca a few times, the best thing to do there, is find something to do else where. You will be on the south end of one of the better bass finger lakes in Cayuga, but being that late in the season your window of oppertunity to fish is too small. IDK if there will even be guides going out that late, and I don't know any guides in that area either.......sorry. Drive up to the north end and go to BPS in Auburn is about the best I can come up with. Or go west into Corning and visit the glass muesem if your into that type of thing. Your over an hour away from my neck of the WNY woods where I could give you some better options. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 30, 2012 Super User Posted October 30, 2012 Get a car and drive a couple hours and ill get you on some trout. Pm me. Quote
scrutch Posted November 3, 2012 Author Posted November 3, 2012 I would love to fish while up there, but I'm not sure yet how much time I will have Friday morning while my wife is taking the deposition. Some last a half day (in which case I would not have the time to fish), and some last all day (I would have time). I know she has to make some time for some SCHMOOZING too. She gets to plan this one, it's her business trip. I get to fill in the gaps while she's gone with my own plans. If it works out, I might take you up on your offer JF. It would be nice to meet you. I'll pm you IF I can forsee a reasonable amount of time to make it happen. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 5, 2012 Super User Posted November 5, 2012 It's snowing right now, but it's supposed to warm back up. PM me, if you want to hook up. Quote
