noogai13 Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I have never really done any finesse fishing but i found a clear spot in Sam Rayburn, TX that looks great. Any suggestions for shakey head, wacky, or drop shot setups? (BTW the spot is an underwater hump off a point. the point goes into the water and kind of comes back up. THX) Quote
aarogb Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 The Jeff Kriet Squirell Tail worm is good option on a shakey head it might work on the drop-shot rig too, but I have found that a Zoom Finesse worms works the best for me on a drop-shot rig. Quote
rat-l-trapper Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 If you haven't tried roboworms I highly recommend them. These worms don't look too special but they catch a ton of fish. Quote
jeremyt Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I like the zoom finesse worm on a spot remover jig, haven't done any drop shotting Quote
RyneB Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 I use the Zoom Trick Worm for fishing finesse plastics. I like the War Eagle Finesse spinnerbait for covering water. Quote
backwater4 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 3/16 spider slider head and a 4" finesse straight tail power worm or luck e strike 4" razor worm. Quote
basshunter2009 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Zoom finesse t-rigged in green pumpkin, watermelon seed or junebug Quote
soccplayer07 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 robo worms on a shaky head or robo 4.5" straight tail on a drop shot (deadly!!!) Quote
Stringjam Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 8" *** would be my first pick. I prefer not to fish straight tails smaller than 6" as they seem to be such dink magnets. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted February 28, 2010 Super User Posted February 28, 2010 Jackall Flick Shake worm on wacky jighead. You're welcome. ;D http://www.extremelures.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=170 Quote
