So I understand as a coangler if I sign up with a boater I get first priority. If I understand what I read right TBF members have the next priority and then they're basically taken in order they signed up. Am I correct?

If you sign up with a boater and they don't with drawal before the event you are in the event. Then it does go by priority of signing up.

I guess you're right, I don't know, go to the source, call them up and find out. It's been a few years since I've fished BFL. I know this, they want your money and they want you to be happy enough to sign up again. I'm unfamiliar with other divisions but as I recall in the Ozark division, I never heard of anyone signing up as a co-angler and not getting to fish. Maybe if they were really late signing up or something like that.

I've never heard of anyone not fishing once they are at an event but once you sign up online you will receive notice that you are on a waiting list or either your confirmation that you are in the event. One note is that your boater has to sign up with you when you register as a co-angler or you will be on the waiting list til your boater is confirmed.

The best thing to do is link with a angler a few weeks in advance it will save you some cash and you'll get to fish several years ago I wanted to co- angle guntersville and signed up at the prefish meeting and didn't get paired so I ended up boating it just to fish which did give another noboater the chance to fish. So link if you can gamble if you can't.

Yea I have been looking for a boater to link with but no luck. I may have to gamble 2 of the 5 tourneys are like 15-20 mins down the road from me so not worried so much about travel cost as I'm doing this for only 3 of them as I am getting to fish the tourneys.
