RAMBLER Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 In the late 70's I was stationed in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I had an old white chevy station wagon and a white ABS plastic canoe. The canoe and all my tackle went in/on the car before ice out and stayed there until after deer season. I fished a lot. Mainly for northern pike. Now, another time and place, I don't dare leave any tackle in my rag top jeep. In no time at all, I wouldn't have any windows or tackle. Quote
BassAssassin726 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Depending on where you live its probably a bad idea. I live in Philly so Im never ever keeping gear in my car. Quote
thehooligan Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I usually keep all my gear in the car, 4 rods and lots of tackle. But if im going into philly or anywhere shady it comes out, lol. Quote
Llama54 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Used to keep most of my tackle in my trunk. I say "used to" because it all got stolen, along with my golf clubs, about a month ago. Won't be doing that anymore Quote
