Super User Jig Man Posted October 20, 2012 Super User Posted October 20, 2012 I doubt that you can fix it and if it is out of warranty you usually can't get them worked on. Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted October 20, 2012 Super User Posted October 20, 2012 Is the backlight brightness adjustable? If it is, bring it up on the menu, and try to adjust the brightness to a higher level, then click enter, or OK, or whatever is on the screen to keep the setting at that level. It might not solve your problem, but it's worth a try. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted October 21, 2012 Super User Posted October 21, 2012 Most of the back-lights on Lowrance products are adjustable by briefly hitting the power button several times. You might try that. Quote
TRYTOFISH Posted October 22, 2012 Author Posted October 22, 2012 checked with lowrance today. looks like i am sol, they will not repair because it over 3 yrs old. looks like in the market for new one, might as well look at a new boat to go with it! Quote
