I'm with Spro, so obviously I'm a big fan of the Aruku Shad, but the Bill Lewis Pro Trap is a freaking awesome bait.  My tournament partner has absolutely smeared me from the back of the boat with that thing.  I usually keep on tied on because somedays they hit that thing way better.  I use the Diamond Dust color.  I always have an Aruku Shad and the Pro Trap tied on.

Not many people throw it and I'm shocked that they don't.  Make sure to change out the hook because they are wicked dull, but once you put a sticky hook on there, you won't lose any fish because of the way it's designed.

Thanks for finding one of my secrets!!!

Thanks for your opinion,I will take that under advisement Ryan. I always thought these looked kind of hokey or gimmicky and I have never used one nor anyone else I fish with. :)

I wonder what would happen if you played with blade size and or color? ;)

Makes sense to me. A lot of people that I know down here fish Traps without the rear treble hook. They upsize the front one & just completely remove the rear one. With that being said, this looks pretty good idea to me.

You definitely need to fish it.  The chrome/blue Rat-L-Trap is a classic for good reason.  I have not used the bladed one, but the original is a great bait.
