Is having your significant other want to spend time with you too much too ask? Im about sick and tired of this. All she wants ro do is watch tv, read, and party by herself(literally all by herself not with other people.) Oddly enough though she doesnt do it until after I get back from work. Apparently she can be around my son with out misbehaving herself. Im just confused and kinda depressed by this. Maybe its her bipolar medicine I dont know. Im just at the end of my wits and if it wasnt for my son I think I would have bailed a few months ago.

Depression? Perhaps she's hiding it while you're at work and while around yall's son.

Leave and hire a good atty. Best advice you can get.

I know that sounds shatty and mean, but I spent 8.5 years with a women who was severly depressed, self medicated and tried to harm herself on more than one occasion. You cant fix a person that wont fix themselves. Your son knows whats up even if she is hiding it.

Taking advice from a non professional is probably not the best course of action, this appears to be both a medical and a family sociological problem. What someone else has done may or may not be pertinent to your situation, a professional hearing both sides of story would be my option, that is if I cared.

If you want to help your wife and save your marriage, get professional help IMMEDIATELY.

been there done that dealing with it while on deployment to but when im home wht iv found to be the problem not that its really a "problem" but the kids. do you guys ever drop the kid off with in laws or your parents for alone time like date nights or just a night home alone just the 2 of you. When my wife starts getting like how your saying your wife is we ditch the kids for a night and I take her out to Olive Garden or Outback her two favorite places to go and just have a night like how it was when we dated before I put a ring on it. The aftermath usually turns out how it was before we got married to which is the bonus for me! lol. My wife is bi polar and has depression issues as well iv learned to ride the roller coaster and deal with it I'v learned to red the warning signs and can pretty much tell when its coming shark week usually triggers her swings lol even my oldest son has learned when she gets like that he kindly asks to spend time with papa till shes done being crazy its cute and hilarious as hell lol.

My advice spend some 1 on 1 time either out on a date doing something you haven't done in a while or talk to a councilor or even family members if there close usually when SHTF or is starting to I call or message my sister in law and she talks some sense into her after all they are sisters.

Thats what happens when your a Raiders fan, your team sucks so bad your spouse goes in to seclusion. LOL just kidding man, on a serious note I think all spouses go through things like that. If I could figure women out I would have been a trillionare by now. Just be supportive and this too shall pass.

Even the most devoted couples need some time away from their partners, but partying by oneself is a red flag. However, we amateurs don't know how the bipolar and depression affects the situation. I agree with the others that a professional needs to be brought into the picture.

I wish you the very best.
