Your Favorite Bass Lures?

I'm just wanting to know what seems to work for everyone. I also wanted to know what colors should I buy or look for while at bass pro shops.

What colors as in senkos.

I like the Bandit 200 series crankbaits. Most of the lakes I fish aren't that deep and these run between 4 and 8 ft. Ive only bought 3 but Ive caught fish on all of them. Colors are Crawfish Red Crawdad, Mistake, and Royal Shad. Some people might say there are better brands you can buy but these work great for me. Plus they're a little cheaper than some of the others. Took my girlfriend out for the first time today and she managed to snag/lose 2 of them so I guess its back to the baitshop. Gonna try some new colors. As for senkos, anything with the words watermelon or pumpkin in the name should do you just fine.

Pumpkin , smokin shad, watermelon, baby bass all work good for me.. I don't think you can go wrong with senkos .

I don't use senkos much atm but when I do I buy those strike king shim e sticks.. They run about 3$ or less at Walmart and I had just as much success as I had with Yamamotos that I gave 8$ for

Colors and baits will depend on water clarity and structure/cover present. I would link it but I'm on my phone right now, but search bassresource on YouTube. Their videos there and here will fix you up on most everything you will need.

I fish mostly dirty waters with lots of timber. For me it's black/blue and green jigs and tubes

For senko style baits I use different shades of greens.

I'd have to say Senkos as well. But I'm not fond of the knock-offs. I've used them and have caught bass (and other species) on them. But time after time, hands down, Senkos flat produce. Maybe it's just a confidence thing.

My 3 favourite baits this year was a Senko, Square Bill and a Lipless.

I keep it simple when it comes to chooseing colours for plastics.

Green Pumpkin is a great all around colour. If I had one choice, it will be this colour.

Watermelons/Watermelon red fleck for clear water.

Black and blue fleck for stain or dirty water.

For crankbaits. I always match the hatch. We don't have shad so I like to stick with the bluegill colours, perch colours.

For stain/dirty water, you want something that shows up better and anything with Chartreuse is great.

Gary Yamamoto has some great info out on the web if you Google it, as to what colors he primarily fishes.

That said, Watermelon Gold Flake is one of those. BPS carries it. Others that I've found good success: Watermelon Magic, Greenpumpkin Magic, and I'd love to try some of his GP with chartreuse tip.

But recently I've been experimenting with Bass Pro Stick-O worms and having great success with Pepper Frog/Hot Orange in 4 1/4" and 5 3/8". I've been slaying bass rigging these wacky, Texas, and split shotting them.

Sir Bert, can you provide us with your location and if possible, the lakes/waters you fish on a regular basis? It's funny how it works but sometimes you will find specific lures that work really well at certain lakes because of that lake's characteristics. I can provide you with what works for me but I think you might get more helpful information from someone who fishes regularly in your area.
