I have a couple high end Dobyns rods and never use them. Steez rods are great rods for the money, recently I realized they went up in price alot. Same rod, but I think the exchange rate had something to do with it. There's just something special about the Megabass and Evergreen rods that I can't put my finger on. Same goes for Gan Craft, I have the 'Junk' and use it quite often. US rods just don't excite me that much. Unless it's my one of one Frankenrod, custom built with a GLoomis GLX blank and Megabass components including the Slant Bridge. Quote
