oxrageous Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I went fishing last weekend on my small pontoon, and attached my GoPro camera to the front for giggles. Didn't have much luck, only caught four bass, all of them dinks. It's still in the mid to high 80's here and the water temperature is still sky high. I expect it to pick up in November. At any rate, I was reeling in my Rage Tail toad and was just about to lift it out of the water when this bass nailed it, which startled me being so close to the boat. The bass was only a little over a pound, but I thought the video was still cool enough to be worth sharing. Nothing like a topwater strike, especially so close. [/url Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 18, 2012 Super User Posted October 18, 2012 Nice footage. It would fit in nice with a montage of strike footage. Keep filming! Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted October 18, 2012 Super User Posted October 18, 2012 That's why I love topwater so much. You never know when the strike is coming. Cool Vid. Interesting camera angle mount. Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted October 19, 2012 Super User Posted October 19, 2012 Top water is king. I have caught some 1-2# fish after taking a fish off my line and dangling the lure off the side of the boat. Scares the bejesus outta ya Quote
Super User South FLA Posted October 20, 2012 Super User Posted October 20, 2012 Nice video footage, and I know that place Quote
