I have several johnny morris rods,part of the guide eyes are not postioned straight ,does that keep the rod from casting straight,they end up about 1/8 in to the left, everyone is the same.Its the solid cork handle no longer avalable THANK GOD BESS

Yep. Take it back for replacement.

Never had a problem returning any thing bought from bps.

I doubt you would have a problem, especially with the owners name on it!

Take it back for sure.

I bought a veritas and didnt inspect it as well as I should. I literally got birds nest on every cast and couldn't figure out why. One of the guides was smashed almost parallel with the rod.

You mean you didn't see it when you were threading the line through the guides for the first time?????

Sure did! Was the same day I got my boat! I was so excited to just get out there I was totally a like a moth to a flame! Tunnel vision and didnt even notice it lol.
