Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 15, 2013 Super User Posted January 15, 2013 The Pats are going to smoke the Baltimore Cravens like a cheap cigar. Then if the Forty-Whiners luck out and get into the SB, they'll get smoked too. Belichick is a master at getting into the mind of a young QB like Kapernicus, Kapernicus will be throwing INT's like Van Dam tossing cranks in a tournament, except it will be Pats DB's making the grabs rather than LM bass. Well, I would go out on a limb here and say your a Pats fan but you just did'nt quite make it clear enough lol !! I wish you the best of luck but it's just not going to happen the way you say it's gonna happen. 1 Quote

Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 15, 2013 Super User Posted January 15, 2013 Don't get me wrong, the Pats may win but I don't see it being a smoking event for either of the teams the Pats will face. Quote

A-Jay Have you considered math class? The eagles superbowl was in 2004/2005 season so it has been almost 8 years. And for the record, if you think this is bad don't get me started on the cowboys, giants, mets or celtics  1 Quote

Always the close but no cigar team......never able to be that one hot team, like the giants, who squeaks into the playoffs and wins it all. Quote

I hear that - looking in from outside the playoffs is never fun - as a long time Pats fan I too am haunted by childhood memories of The Boston Patriots who were REALLY BAD EVERY YEAR ! My son is spoiled. As a Pats fan he only knows of this recent version of the team where post season participation is the norm. Our day will come. Once The current QB and Head Coach depart, the dreaded "Rebuilding" will commence and we all know what that's like - brown bags on the head are often involved at some point . . . and don't even get me going on the Red Sox. Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 15, 2013 Super User Posted January 15, 2013 Red Sox !!!! I was a Washington Senators fan......Way back when. Wanna talk about a dry spell, I had no one for quite some time until the Nats came to town LOL !!! 1 Quote

You NE fans are going to be disappointed Sunday much like the last game of the season for the Red Sox in 2011....NO SUPER BOWL FOR YOU. Hard to be disappointed when the Pats went to 5 SB's and won 3, the Celtics won a championship, the Sox won 2 and the Bruins won 1, all in the last 13 years...LOL 2 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 15, 2013 Super User Posted January 15, 2013 Disappointment is watching your first baseman letting the ball roll thru his legs in '86...I lied, that wasn't disappointing, it was heart wrenching! 1 Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 15, 2013 Super User Posted January 15, 2013 Orioles?...Or did I say something wrong...LOL No I enjoyed watching the O's, it was the closest thing to having a home team, but you have to understand me, once I choose something I will stick with it, i'm just that way from my dad, he was a Baltimore Colt's fan I was a Redskins fan, we had our differences, but we loved the Senators and went to every ball game we could. 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 15, 2013 Super User Posted January 15, 2013 My dad was a Boston Braves fan, as a matter of fact, when he got out of the marine's he worked as a groudskeeper for the Braves. Imagine how he felt when they left town...His favorite team was gone along with his job...LOL Quote

Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 15, 2013 Super User Posted January 15, 2013 I like your dad more than you now. Sadly he is no longer with us or I am sure he would like you too lol !! He always loved having people over to watch sports with, if you were a Colts fan you were welcome ANY time, if you were not then you had to be family other than sports nights and weekends, he would not even let my friends come over unless they were a Redskins fan, but they could only be there for as long as the game was on lol !!!
