Super User MCS Posted February 3, 2013 Super User Posted February 3, 2013 So now that CC made the hall of fame, and well deserved in my mind, what does that say about driver's chances? I was comparing the two stat lines and I am thinking if it took CC 6 years to get in there is no way driver makes it. Had some fine Philly cuisine tonight! Was thinking about u fly as I looked at all the eagles and phillies memorabilia lol here is one for you. Congrats to CC he was way more likable and fun to watch than DD 1 Quote

Super User Darren. Posted February 3, 2013 Super User Posted February 3, 2013 For one of the few Bills fans, tears for the great Andre Reed. He will make it one day. Congrats to all the dudes that made it. And go 49ers. Or Ravens. 1 Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 3, 2013 Super User Posted February 3, 2013 d**n it. Spoke to a couple of the guys. I should have gone to the game. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted February 3, 2013 Super User Posted February 3, 2013 I have friends that live in New Orleans and they said it is crazy down there with Mardis gras and the Super Bowl sandwiched in the middle. Basically the town is on a three week vacation. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 3, 2013 Super User Posted February 3, 2013 People passed out on the streets, it's nuts. I understand it's pretty hard to get arrrested there right now. ok, back to reality, I'm glad I didn't go. That's an accident waiting to happen. Quote

I will wait to see how the season shapes up, but right now I still don't see a superbowl run in the cards for the Skins, playoff's, eh....maybe. Quote
Super User MCS Posted February 4, 2013 Super User Posted February 4, 2013 Enough will the football guys. it is baseball time! Phillies versus Nats to play the O's for the world title?!?! Lol Don't want to think about next yr yet. Wonder if ngata and birk retire. There will be holes left, we will be good but nothing will top this year. 1 Quote

Even being a phillies fan i am not as optimistic as you are Although if there was a phillies O's world series i would definitely be at least one game. Quote

Nats better come out on top of that one this year if that were to happen LOL !! It is a prime time for them to retire if they were to do so, but are their contracts up this year? I don't think Birk will be as a big of hit as loosing Ngata would be anyway, you almost let that game get away from you, I saw a lot of lack of effort in the 2nd half by the Ravens deep in their secondary, something I did not see in the first half, Reed and the rest of the crew back there almost cost you that game IMO. Quote
Super User MCS Posted February 4, 2013 Super User Posted February 4, 2013 Well birk is a big hit, to me I am disappointed in the run blocking they deffinately need to improve there. Ngata is past his prime, he is beat up. Time to go younger and faster. Yeah after the light came back on it was a different team out there. Looked tired. Ed came through when it counted though, got the pressure on the QB on the 2 PT try. I was worried the red zone d was great this year but 3 shots was gonna test it. The playoff run was great but coming into this game I agree with the haters and say it was way too much Ray. I just tried to avoid all that crap until the game. Thing I can't wait to see the offense for a full year under Caldwell, entire off season, camp etc. should be great. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted February 4, 2013 Super User Posted February 4, 2013 I think reed was offsides on that 2pt conversion play but i guess if it isn't called then it was legal Quote

I agree, Ed did make things happen, he had a great game, the offence under Caldwell should be ok, he made the right adjustments when it counted the most, as far as the team comparing the two and saying the plays are the same between the two, is just wrong, I dont see you all making it to the SB if his plays were still being utilised, I see good things for you guy's next season and if they play like this next year, I would venture to say another trip to the SB is not out of the question. I think reed was offsides on that 2pt conversion play but i guess if it isn't called then it was legal There were a ton of calls that could have been made in that game for both sides imo. Quote
