Sparky2Weld Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I sure hope this is posted in the right place. I just broke my Lowrance transducer and there is not much material left to work with; however, I was wondering if anyone has had any success repairing with a fiberglass kit or epoxy. I am using a X135 and hesitate purchasing a new transducer since I do not believe my unit is supportable. It works fine and I would like to get a few more miles from it, Thanks all Quote
mc6524 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I would suggest you double check the availability of the transducer. Lowrance's transducers usually match several units Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 17, 2012 Super User Posted October 17, 2012 Been there, done that. As mc6524 said, go with a new transducer. Simpler and easier to install. If you have any questions you may want to consider calling 804.776.9802 and speaking with Marine Electronics of Hartfield, Inc. in Harffield, Virginia and get their opinion. They are the Lowrance specialists on the east coast. Quote
