Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2012 Super User Posted October 14, 2012 The Spider vs The American Psycho ~ Who ya got ? I say Silva - in like 15 seconds. A-Jay Quote
tipptruck1 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 So far the fights have been good. If Silva wins. Dana has to do some thing about Silva. He has beat almost every one in the middle weight and light heavy weight. Also at the start. Iheard some thing about liddel. He said he could beat silva, or some thing along them lines. I liked chuck as a fighter. But come on man. You are a 40 some thing that is retired. If you can beat him. Please come back for one fight only. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2012 Author Super User Posted October 14, 2012 Chuck would be killed - seriously. A-Jay Quote
tipptruck1 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I figured he would not win. I haven't seen any recent photos of him.I am guessing he could not even last one round. Before he was breathing like he has fought 3 rounds. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2012 Author Super User Posted October 14, 2012 Well, That was fast. A-Jay Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2012 Author Super User Posted October 14, 2012 The Spider struck quickly and with devastating results. A-Jay Quote
tipptruck1 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I loved how he was just toying with him. If i was Bonner. I would have eased up. You could tell Silva was trying to wear him out. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2012 Author Super User Posted October 14, 2012 Bonner has been beaten, battered and bruised by some big strikes. But I've never seen him hit the canvas like that, especially from a knee. That must have been some kind of shot. A-Jay Quote
Jake P Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Silva remains the best fighter in the world. He will retire undefeated whenever that may be. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Silva is not undefeated. He has lost a few fights. But that was before he got to the ufc. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted October 14, 2012 Super User Posted October 14, 2012 That was an incredible knee. Bonnar's solarplex is going to be sore for a while. Liddell v Silva would have been sweet 5 years ago when Liddell still had a chin, but now it would just be sad to see Liddell get toyed with until Silva decided it was to put him down like an old dog. Assuming GSP beats Condit, a catchweight "super" bout would be a very tough fight for Silva. GSP will be able to take Silva down and has a decent shot at beating him at a catchweight. Quote
craww Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Me thinks Gsp is going to have a tough time with condit before theres anytalk of a superfight. Carlos is a true fighter and every bout is a war. Gsp don't like being hit, it works for him but its so boring watching him dry hump his way to a decision. 1 Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted October 14, 2012 Author Super User Posted October 14, 2012 I missed the main event I seen the fight right before it though watched it In the chow hall well eating breakfast but had to go do the Navy's job guarding there boat and couldn't watch the Silva fight You didn't really miss much - here's the short version - They danced around a bit and then Silva smashed Bonner in the mid section with a fight ending knee. Bonner went down like he was shot. Game Over. A-Jay Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted October 14, 2012 Super User Posted October 14, 2012 yeah I heard he was toying with him kept up against the cage and taunted him to come in then would git tired of it rock him then let him try again till he decided to end it with the knee Quote
Jake P Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Silva is not undefeated. He has lost a few fights. But that was before he got to the ufc. Should have clerified " undefeated in the UFC". I have seen both of his losing fights pre UFC. It is amazing seeing him now vs then. Quote
