NEjitterbugger Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I have been having really good success using topwater baits such as jitterbugs and zara spooks lately, but I can't throw them directly into weed beds and such. I am planning on investing in some topwater frogs and am interested in what you guys have for suggestions... Thanks Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted October 13, 2012 Super User Posted October 13, 2012 Koppers Live Target or SK KVD Sexy frog, Pad Crasher good too. Quote
loodkop Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Spro popping frog in both regular and baby size. Any color as long as it's black. Quote
Super User aavery2 Posted October 13, 2012 Super User Posted October 13, 2012 I like Jackal Iobee frogs, good hooks, nice soft bodies, and walk as easy as any out there. The Padcrasher is cheaper and works well also. Quote
Jake P Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Kvd sexy frog or booyah pad crasher. I have used them both with equal success. Quote

Avalonjohn44 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I'm a big fan of Koppers. Lost count of how many bass I caught this summer. Fished them almost exclusively in Orlando area a few weeks ago and was doing great with them. Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted October 14, 2012 Super User Posted October 14, 2012 Koppers, spro, and jackall are the best I have used. There are some videos on YouTube about using these kind of baits. Braided line, 7 foot plus rods, and medium heavy to heavy action rods with higher speed reel are keys. It is a very fun way to fish that can yield some very good sized fish! Quote
Arv Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Pad Crasher. It works well and doesn't break the bank. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted October 14, 2012 Super User Posted October 14, 2012 Spro popping frog in both regular and baby size. Any color as long as it's black. Good advice. Quote
