EvanT123 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Was thinking about picking up a 66 or 7 med/fast for flukes, spinners and other top waters. Anyone have any experience with these rods ? Or make any recommendations for something in a similar price range? Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted October 11, 2012 Super User Posted October 11, 2012 I have one like it, I would go with the convergence or clarus from shimano though, lifetime over the counter warranty Quote
BASSHUNTER1961 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Check out my 2 Berkley Lightning Shock rods. Either works great with Flukes. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/108295-rods-and-reel-updated-with-pictures/ Quote
EvanT123 Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 Thanks but I had the lighting shock. Didn't really feel comfortable in my hand. Quote
SkeeterDave Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I got two 7 footers (med/fast) I use for Carolina rig and texas rig.......... and a 7'6" retractable (med/hvy) that I use for frogging/top water....... I just couldn't justify $100+ rods anymore so the price for the Procyns met my budget. Quote
