Mike and I, team Hawgtech, went out yesterday morning with Captain Steve Daniels to do a little fishing and testing of the Hawg Handle prior to taping his weekly radio show. The wind made us change plans and launched on the North end instead of Clewiston. After the morning session and the recording studio, Mike and I stopped and fished the Everglades, and put a hurting on Bertha! Our five biggest went over 30lbs again with Mike's biggest being a 7 1/4lber, I ,once again was only catching 5lbers with him on the boat. Yesterday was a day in bass fishing heaven...fishing Lake Okeechobee with Steve Daniel in the morning, lunch with Steve/Deb at Roland Martin's tiki bar talking old school Okeechobee fishing, radio show with Steve, afternoon trip at Loxahatchee catching toads non-stop (first time in my life I've been disappointed catching 5lbers), followed by a cold beer and the best hot wings in South Florida (Park Avenue). Someone pinch me...
