soccplayer07 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Anybody use Maniac Custom Lures? I received a few packs of the 4" paddle tail that I did not order (thrown in extra bc they ran out of what I did order). Based on the web site review it looks as though they are recommended for shaky applications. At 4" it looks a little short for that in my opinion. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks. Quote
XLFISH Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 THROW THEM WEIGHTLESS...INTO THE TRASH CAN. Just messing with you playboy. I dont throw shaky rigs. Maybe that could be a "Burke Lake Go To Lure". One day you will be struggling under tough conditions (like your next outing) and say "Man I wish I had those cigarette sized baits". Maybe smallmouth will hit them. Quote
cbfishalot Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Maniac Lures hit the market big in Colorado because they made no salt and no scent baits. A couple of years ago the division of wildlife put the rule into effect on a couple smaller bodies of water. I fish a couple of there baits: cutter bug, paddle tail worm, and the drop shot worm (not on web site). The cutter bug I mojo rig. The paddle tail and drop shot worm I nail weight rig wacky and drop shot. I have fished these baits with great success. Quote
