I actually like the Flash better than the Senko.  They are both quite soft and virtually identical.

Kinami baits are not made by GYCB ( Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits), they are made by Yamamoto enterprises(Derek Yamamoto)

They are the closest thing I have found to a senko, but still not the same.

I would take the senko any day over the flash. and they are not any cheeper either

most people think they are, but they are packaged different.

5 inch senko is $6.49 for 10 (65 cents each)

5 inch Flash is $4.49 for 7 (65 cents each)

infact if you do the math the flash is 1/2 cent more per each

Please don't take this as being pompous; I'm just wanting to share some facts.    Kinami and Gary Yamamoto Custom baits are just trademark names; with the Kinami's being a Yamamoto Enterprise, or division of Yamamoto.   An enterprise essentially means a business venture or undertaking, and the Kinami entity was formed by Yamamoto solely to market to large retailers like Walmart; hence the packages with fewer Senkos (I mean flashes :)) to keep cost down to match the demographics of that market.  He put his son in charge of that division.  Kinami and Yamamoto share the same plant(s), roll off the same assembly line, and are identical baits.

This topic is frequently brought up on the Forum.  The "discussion" is sometimes short, but usually goes on for several pages. This debate is not about opinions, but facts which have been CONFIRMED by GYCB  staff members and Gary Yamamoto himself. The_Natural has summed  it up concisely, these are the same baits.

Just as Road Warrior and the Natural say, same product different package. Just like Mercury and mariner engines, same product different package.

The only true difference between Kinami and GYCB is that Kinami baits have the Kinami name stamped on the egg sack of the Flash worm.
