the only thing i can help you on is frogs. I prefer the Rage Toad as far as soft plastic frogs go. Hard bodied frogs I have used all kinds, the only one i can say i hated was the Manns, for some reason my hook up ratio was horrible compared to the Tru Tungten, snag proof and other brands.

I like smelly jelly crawfish. It's the consistency of thick vaseline. Keep a towel handy. One of my buddies and I did a trial. We fished the exact same lure rigged the same way, same presentation and in the same areas. He had at least three bites to my one. It can make a real difference when the bite is tough and they won't hang on. It stays on the bait well.

YUM's scent is very good.  Also, if you use a jighead for a wacky hook, your wacky rig has become a flick shake!  This is also a very good rig

For frogs.....

I own 5 different colors of both the Spro bronzeye regular size and jr. size, 4 colors of snagproof's bobbys perfect frog, 2 colors of Ish's phat frog, 2 colors of the Tru Tungsten Mad Max frog, stanley ribbits and tons of horny toads. And i would trade in all of those and only own about 15 of the same color/model now. That lure is the Spro Bronzeye JR. in the albino color. All white. No other colors. That is my GO TO lure from May-September.
