My brother wanted to fish today, and I wasn't sure we would get any action since it was 34 this morning. We have been skunked just once since the season started.(march)...but I said I would give it a shot...I used a chartreuse strike king KVD 2.5 and we started at the mouth of a channel and boated 6 fish in about 20 min the action was hot..got one 4 pounds and another about 2.75...we fished the other parts of the lake we liked and couldn't buy a bite...we did see the Bald Eagle and he is always cool to see.

Way to go, Alan. Crankbaits and Autumn are so reliable, that's got to be exciting for you and your brother. Six bass in 20 minutes, have Mercy!
