If Google streetview came by your neighborhood at the wrong time, what would it see?

Dont know if im allowed to post that on here. ;)

Seriously though it would probably be along the lines of, "why is this redneck Raiders fan living in this upscale townhouse complex." They would also probably wander why there is a 6 foot by four foot Raider flag mounted to the exterior second level wall. (The flag is removed for 3days a month so as not to get fined for it. Yep I found a loophole in the bylaws.

A lady from our Church is sitting at the stop sign in our town.

I actually saw the google camera car in a neighboring town.

Everything would be fine unless Streetview showed up during the annual N.O.W. (Neighborhood Orgy Week.) The image of twenty or thirty old farts and fartesses running up and down the block naked would probably ruin the camera.

LMAO! You and I could cause some serious havoc if we were neighbors.

Hmm, maybe too much of my posterior if I was bent over working on tying stuff on in the boat, seems I sometimes have difficulty keeping my pants up, but that's a whole nother story all together :respect-059:

Based on when Westport got out of the rotary dial age, and got cable TV, and the fact that the town does not yet have FIOS service available, by the time Google gets to our street, I'll be residing in the cemetary.

I dunno about my neighborhood but if they came by the neighborhood my parents live in, they'd probably get shot at.

Probably a car flying by about 20 mph over the speed limit down a residential street.

out front="trumpet man" aka an old guy who roller blades around town sounding off random notes on various brass horns

8 blocks south= tourists and drunk people chowing down on 'the best' philly cheese steaks (the pats or geno's fued will never die)

15 blocks east=under water cam shot from the bottom of the delaware river

20 blocks northwest=someone taking a picture with the 'Rocky' statue while yelling 'Adrian!'

4 blocks north=a man dressed like a woman.

4 blocks east=a woman dressed like a man

1 block east=the 'blind' guy in front of CVS that asks for a dollar or cigarette as he sees his friend coming 1/2block away and yells 'hello'

2 blocks west=a pack of teenagers smoking medicinal grade marijuana thats more likely to make you go blind than 'cure' ur initial problem

2 blocks south=some bald guy walking down the city street wearing a panama jack sun hat and polarized sunglasses with 4 baitcaster and 3 spinning set ups trying to remember where he parked his car so he can get outta dodge

For the record that quote is from the Declaration of Independence, not the 1st amendment of the Constitution.

The 1 st amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".

In many of the HOA's in my area, restrictions can be made against certain types of vehicles, boats or campers being parked anywhere on private or common areas in the community, additionally any flag or banner other than the American flag is in violation as well. Noncompliance may result in a fine, an unpaid fine will result in a lien on the property and a lien results in a cloudy title..........not good to have.

Sounds just like my association. Even though they do some good, I hate those SOB's for some of the rules. Especially the no boat parking.

I was a Board Member & Landscaping Chairman of ours. I questioned the community builder on why items were in the Covenants and other documents, his reply was "we used a general Boiler-Plate document package as a starter, and now it's up to the members to tailor it to their needs" But that requires legal actions, expense, and worst of all, a consensus of the members - we can't even get a Forum at most of the meetings.

MY HOA is no different, not only are there ridiculous items but the board members are a lot to be desired, that said no wants those jobs so it's the same people year after year.
