Taurus Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Hello! I'm a male military spouse. Been here in Oklahoma for a year. Love OK, but the summer heat is a beast! Always looking for places to fish in the area. Gotta get it in before the Air Force moves us to the next base. Great community! Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted October 3, 2012 Super User Posted October 3, 2012 Welcome! Not many of us from Edmond. This is a really cool place. You will love it. Unfortunately Bass fishing is so so around here, but I have found a couple of decent places. I'm headed out at first light tomorrow to get a start on this fall bite! Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted October 9, 2012 Super User Posted October 9, 2012 A hearty welcome from Tulsa. You are correct. The last two summers have been brutal. I'm no longer a young man, so I hunkered down for the summer; with the exception of a couple of trout fishing trips on the White River below Bull Shoals. As you well know, fall came in with a bang last week. One day we had a high of 90 and two days later we had a high of 50, which set a record as the lowest high temperature on record for this date. Time to go fishing! Quote
