Sometimes a Guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do biggrin.gif So I DID biggrin3.gif After Flipping a Falcon Lake Craw colored Rage Hawg in timber and a strong hook set... The fish was happy to stay out of trouble until she got close to the boat and then it was FLAME ON!

A quick turn later and she headed straight into a nearby set of sticks and wrapped me about 4 ft deep. She was tired and the braided line had slipped under a crack in the stick, with her snugged up too tight to free herself. I hate breaking them off like that because of the chance of a fish being stuck for good and potentially doing harm to them, so in I went whistle.gif I was able to kick her loose without going completely under and didn't even get my hat wet lol.gif It made for a good Photo anyway :laugh5:

Been fishing quite a bit and trying to keep up with everyones post here too... Hope the Fall Fishing is coming on strong for all of you as well!!!

I feel for the poor sap holding the camera lol. I waded up to my chest yesterday to free one and turned out to be a dink. Cold water + me = shrinkage lol

Didn't weigh her Darren... But I did talk sweet to her and rub that belly a little before turning her loose and getting back in the boat :laugh5:

Another beast Big-O! I've done the same for a couple fish in brushpiles, nothing near that big unfortunately. It makes it a little scary when you're in muddy water and haven't seen it yet but when you get a good fish you want to get her in the boat! :eyebrows:
