Super User retiredbosn Posted September 26, 2012 Super User Posted September 26, 2012 SPOKANE, Wash. — A human finger found inside a fish at Idaho’s Priest Lake has been traced to a wakeboarder who lost four fingers in an accident more than two months earlier. Fisherman Nolan Calvin found the finger while he was cleaning the trout he caught Sept. 11. He put it on ice and called the Bonner County, Idaho, sheriff’s office, the Spokesman-Review newspaper reported........ Super User Nitrofreak Posted September 26, 2012 Super User Posted September 26, 2012 Ha !!!! The guy was in better spirits than I thought he would be !!! What a rough way to loose a few fingers though. Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted September 26, 2012 Author Super User Posted September 26, 2012 It puts a new twist on senko type baits though. The bone would be problematic in t-rigging, but skin hooking it wouldn't be an issue. 1 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted September 27, 2012 Super User Posted September 27, 2012 So a wacky rig would work? Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted September 27, 2012 Super User Posted September 27, 2012 Wacky finger? You would have to rig it so the knuckles bent in the right direction. Quote
The Rooster Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Put it on a jig as a trailer. If it was a fat kid who lost it then you'd still have a jig n pig combo. 1 Quote

Super User slonezp Posted September 27, 2012 Super User Posted September 27, 2012 Wonder what kind of scent was on the finger. Booger? Quote
The Rooster Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 There are lots of scents that find their way onto a finger from time to time. Quote
