Scorcher214 Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 i bought the XPS stalker tackle backpack http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10200527____SearchResults Just one problem, there is no room for a spinner bait box! There are A LOT of side pockets, i dont feel like ordering a spinnerbait binder from BPS for i just put in a order and didnt think about the binder. So is there anything i can use that would work like a spinnerbait binder? That i dont have to go to BPS or gander mountain to get? The biggest pocket i can fit stuff in is 9inx7in Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 17, 2010 Super User Posted February 17, 2010 I've tried all the spinnerbait boxes out there, and finally settled on the FTO wallet. Best thing I've found. Quote
Copen1822 Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 I've tried all the spinnerbait boxes out there, and finally settled on the FTO wallet. Best thing I've found. They work Quote
Scorcher214 Posted February 17, 2010 Author Posted February 17, 2010 I looked at them and they seem to be the perfect size, could i fit buzzbaits in them or is it just spinners? Quote
Boogey Man Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_54763____SearchResults This is what I use. I use the big green Okeechobee Fats bag so I just substituted this for one the boxes that came with it. Quote
jj2 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I use a falcon spinner bait box there about the same size as a regular plano storage box not the big square boxs that won't fit anywhere you can get them for spinnerbaits or buzzbaits or a half spinner and half buzz they hold your baits securley you can even turn the box upside down and your baits stay put Quote
kikstand454 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 i have the fto binder and i cant figure out how to get the thing to hold a spinnerbait. its really nice though. scorcher, i have and still occasionally use a cd wallet to hold spinnerbaits. get one at goodwill or the flea market or whatever for a dollar. they work great and fit anywhere... and theyre cheap. cbfishalot Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I use the fto spinnerbait and the fto buzzbait wallets. Quote
JDK. Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 good cheap storage go to wally world in office section and get little plastic folder they make for holding coupons has plastic sleeves in it works great for holding spinnerbaits and you can fit it inside the bag you got just like this http://www.organize.com/coupon-organizer-holder-clear-13-pockets.html Quote
ib_of_the_damned Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I use an expandable notecard holder, they have them almost everywhere from supermarkets to walmart. They are cheap and hold spinnerbaits well. You can also fit buzzbaits in there as long as they are not the triple or quad blade type. Quote
Ineedanewscreenname20170204 Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I'm glad it's not just me. I've tried about every solution out there and still I am not very happy. I'm currently using the Falcon FTO spinnerbait / buzzbait box and it's ok but not great IMHO. The skirts interfere and sometimes get ripped when getting a bait out. Been thinking about trying a worm binder with the sealable bags.... Quote
