LipRipper_562 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 does anyone have any tips for bass fishing at el dorado. Appreciate the help. Quote
bman310 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 El Dorado is a very tough lake, You just gotta try it frequently to know what's working. I haven't been there in the last month, but you can generally get bit on the drop shot or reaction baits. -b Quote
via Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 ive havent been there for a while and every time i go there i get skunked so dont be surprise if you come home empty handed. i recommend you have a top water lure tied on at all times just in case the bass starts to boil on the shads. i would also try a spinnerbait or crankbait in the morning and late afternoon near cover. but if the bite is really slow, throw a drop shot, senko, or a fat ika. ive also heard from a couple of guys that they were getting hogs from rat baits in the back lake. if you have any more questions, go to performance tackle(located on katella ave) most of the workers there go to el dorado alot more than i do. good luck on your next trip. civicsurfer1 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I wouldn't even bother with El Dorado. It's way too tough. Go try Legg or Cerritos. Quote
