Super User J Francho Posted September 27, 2012 Super User Posted September 27, 2012 I'd call the principal out in a school board meeting. I'd call the news and any local elected officials as well. The planet would hear my stink about something like that. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted September 27, 2012 Super User Posted September 27, 2012 Found out that they were allowed to read to their kids at home, but only books that the class was supposed to read and no other books. Her friend was actually "talked to" by the schools principal and warned that they were to no longer read other materials to their kids. I'm surprised you actually believe this story, it's ridiculous. Still not buying it. Maybe if it was the opposite of what you wrote where she read ahead in the books that the class was supposed to read. Maybe, but I doubt it. Quote
JoePhish Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I've come across a couple of teachers in my day who I don't think belong in the classroom. I don't have kids in school but I date teachers from time to time. One thought that Baltimore was in Oregon. Another thought Mexico was part of South America. Theses may not be big deals to some of you here but for me if I had children in their classes I would be worried. Quote
