Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted September 24, 2012 Super User Posted September 24, 2012 Tried a new spot today (Wye Mills Dam in Queen Ann's County MD). Kind of uncomfortable because the only spot you can fish from the shore is on the slanted concrete going down into the water. My ankles and knees are killing me but I still had fun. Wasn't having any luck so I moved a little further down. About a half an hour later, this guy who was fishing where I just was pulls in a bass that looked every bit of 5 or 6 lbs. A little while later I landed this monster. 9 inches of lizard gobbling fury! The only fish i caught all day. Everyone feel free to post your own personal worsts. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted September 24, 2012 Super User Posted September 24, 2012 I don't see small bass as worst (bad). Something is better than nothing. Also, look at my avatar, I'm proud to catch such a small bass Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted September 24, 2012 Author Super User Posted September 24, 2012 Theres nothing bad about it. Im thrilled when i catch any fish. Just saying, this is my smallest so far. Honestly, i just got ahold of a digital camera and got a little overly excited about taking fishing pictures. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 24, 2012 Global Moderator Posted September 24, 2012 Hey they can't all be giants! On a tough day any fish is a good fish and a fish in the boat is just one more piece of the puzzle on how to get more. I don't consider it a personal worst. What is much worse is when I keep ignoring that voice in my head telling me what I should try because the fish aren't following the rules. Then I try it an hour before I have to go home and start lighting them up, that's much worse. Quote
