Man, I hate this time of year, no time for myself, or fishing for that matter.

School, Lacrosse, work, and the girlfriend all consume my time. HOLY HALIBUT. I just want to hibernate for like, a week, and working till 11 almost everyday doesn't help.

Man i'm drained, I just cant wait for next semester, I get to leave school halfway through the day for CO-OP, aka, i get to go home and sleep until I have to work.

And the worst part is I havent been out fishing in a month, and the fall bite has been HOT according to my dad.

Hey BC no E, If you were me, you'd regret it ;-), but seriously, If I were you I would make time to fish with your father. It's something you'll never regret. Short time, few hours when you can grab it. Your GF will understand. If not, you still have that Sarah Palin poster on the wall----.

^agree^. Kick the GF to the curb if need be. there's a 99.99 chance that you're going to have MANY more GF's in the the future so no need to waste time on just one when you can be fishing.

All complaining does is waste more time.

Funny being you we're the exact opposite in my football thread.

To the OP I was in your shoes a few years ago. Just remember, the fish will be there in the future. Just something to make you work extra hader for!

I figured he was a college student. Deleted my post, and apologize :oops-0030:

When I was in high school I quit playing sports because I had a pack of beagles and chased rabbits, I went rabbit hunting almost everyday from November to March, sports interfered with my fun time. I did work, but kept that in check too. Between your homework load work, school, sports and social life every hour is accounted for I'm sure. Do yourself a favor drop something, go fishing with your Dad, spend time with your girl, kick back and be young. When you are married with kids you will know what overwhelming responsibilities, busy and exhausted are. Really consider taking some time for u now. Good luck

On a side note: I hate too see young people stressed like this, comes from being to busy. My first wife had my daughter on something every night of the week,.it wasn't good for her.

You're in high school, how hard and time consuming could school be??! Beside the fact you're forced to be there from 8-3.

The young man is working a job plus other activities, not to mention in high school there is always some kind of peer pressure. A 30 year college grad may look at college as being some of the best times in life, all ya gotta do is go to school, how many times have you whined about a test or a teacher ..........cut the kid some slack.

I had a job in high school while fishing weekly tournament during the spring. The thing is, I never studied in high school. I just read the notes while teacher lectured and I was able to retain all of the reading materials in my head for the test. I never studied at home... I guess that why I think high school is not time consuming.

to each their own.

You have you're priorities in order. Keep it up brutha. The fish ain't doing anything but getting bigger! They will be there when you are. Get out there with your pops if you can so you won't have to be wishing that you had.

What does a busy kid in school have to do about a NFL thread? Then again why are you trying to weave unrelated threads together??

X2 BC (no E) is a real fishing nut, but he has his priorities right.

Awwwwwww. Come on Homie, Highschool is/was cake. Being a amazing football player had its privileges. ;)

Girlfriend? Very time consuming. Better to just bounce between the girlies and not use the titles.

Im just funning you Homie.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I actually got off of work early-ish today around 7:30, and went out my old man to for an hour of tossing, but we catch anything. Guess the bass arent shallow quite yet. Either way it was nice to get away for a little bit, considering my busy arse schedule, and getting ready for college stuff. Woo!

And to only add to my stress, I got my debit card info stolen at a Sunglasses Hut, and got rung for like $200 I dont have, so I get to deal with no card for a week, and then filing claims, etc. Man, I sure could go for some vacation about now.
