From what I've tried, I like the original Rad Lures Chatterbait best.  I've tried the

Venom knock-off and the Gambler version but these were not as productive.  What I like about the original Chatterbait is that the blade is connected directly to the jighead without a split ring.  That split ring whcih is included on some of the other versions gets tangled sometimes and I also think that the Chatterbait produces a more erratic, unrpedictable action.

I prefer the original. I know that the original Chatterbait is not built strong like some of the others but for some reason I just prefer originals. Looking at huskyjerk's post I agree with him that it is connected directly to the jig head with out a split ring.

I prefer the Original Rad Lures Chatterbait. I've also fished the Gambler and the Booyah and I get a better thump from the original and it has produced more fish than the others. I do however feel like the others are made a better than the original but they dont put fish in the boat like it does.

Mine. ;D  I make some from components from Barlows.  I'll bring you a couple when we go fish.  Just let me know what color(s) you would be interested in.  I have 3/8 and 1/2 oz.

the tccustombaits are by far the best.  the price is great and if you don't like them(after using them) full refund.  also if any thing goes wrong with them he will replace them at no charge.  give them a look you wont be disappointed.
