Super User clayton86 Posted September 21, 2012 Super User Posted September 21, 2012 I used to when in college we would make the trip from Hartford to Boston to one of the shops get some cigars hit up some bars and back to Connecticut for Monday morning class. Couldn't tell ya what kind though. They sell a lot of them here in Kuwait in the local shops some are labeled as Cubans i kinda wanna pick one up and try it before I leave. Quote
I.rar Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 i always liked most of the oliva line. onyx is good if you like a dark smoke. since i kinda got out of the cigar hobby (i had a cooler full of a variety of smokes), i developed a liking for the tins. the padron maduro tins are a favorite of mine. but, if i was to go shopping for a good smoke, id go for the Taboo Twist or HSG in whatever size. its been a while since ive had one but those two are on top of my short list of smokes. their website isnt what it used to be .... http://www.taboociga...o-Cigars_c3.htm Quote
Super User Marty Posted September 21, 2012 Super User Posted September 21, 2012 what kind of cigars are in your tackle box or boat. Senkos, Zara Spooks and others. These lure types are often referred to as cigar lures. Sorry, couldn't resist being a wise guy. Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted September 22, 2012 Super User Posted September 22, 2012 I like a dark Dominican blend, I don't have a favorite brand as I don't possess the monetary means to go full blown, lol. I've smoked 40 dollar cigars, I got lucky and knew the manager of a cigar shop at a resort, and she let me "test" that was awesome. There are a couple of tobacconist here where I live and they have a house brand of Dominican made cigar, run about 4 bucks a smoke, I also enjoy smoking a pipe have a few Savonelli Church Warden pipes that are awesome, in those I like a light shag cut blend, called Honey Smoke.
