I have never had a lot of luck with spinnerbaits until recently. I have only one and its a Strike King bleeding spinnerbait thats 3/16 oz and in the fire tiger color. It has a gold willow blade and a small chrome indiana blade. I've caught quite a few fish on this bait the past three days. However, I want to order some more. I was wondering what you guys like for stained/murky water with some clear patches in the shallower water? What brand/type? The fish seem to love the size of mine which is fairly smaller. Thanks for reading!

Well, in the pond I fish at a Booyah Chartrusse spinnerbait, works great in murky water for me I believe they're 1/16 or 1/8. I'll have to check for you.

Booyah is a good bait. I like larger ones in the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 oz. range though. White is an absolute must have color. Black or some other dark color is too. Chartreuse, or white/chartreuse can be also at times. Blade combinations are endless and there are several different ones I use depending on conditions. I carry as many as 40 all the time. Tandem willow and Colorado blades are a staple but I also like dual or single Colorado for murky waters or low light conditions. Double willow is great for burning a bait or for grass.

Are there other companies you guys like besides booyah? I can't seem to find the color I want from booyah in the smaller size.

Strike king makes good baits. War eagle too. Basically they're all similar but I only get the ones with ball bearing swivels and open R bends for the line ties. Avoids line tangle hassles this way and makes blade turn easier with slow rolling them.

Tackle shop made baits can be good and usually offer lots of "non manufactured" colors and blade combos. Got any local shops nearby??

But trust me, you want the white Booyah.

Terminators catch the most fish for me, followed closely by pepper hawg spinnerbaits from pepperjigs.com.

Strike king tour grade spinnerbaits is all I fish. White and white/chartreuse in 1/4 or 3/8 oz.

War Eagle is about the only spinnerbait I fish anymore with the exception of a few Booyah spinnerbaits that I use for fun fishing because they're cheaper if I lose one or if it gets bent up. A chartruese and white or bright white 3/8oz with tandem colorado/willowleaf, or colorado/indiana style blades is one of my go two baits in stained water.

I use Booyah and War Eagle Spinnerbaits. I really like the Gold Scale Chartreuse White color in Booyah Spinnerbaits. The Booyah Pipsqueek and War Eagle Buzzbait are good as well.

Here are a few to consider:

NorthStar Hidden Weight SpinnerBait

MegaStrike StrikeBack Spinnerbait

For deep structure, the 3/4 oz Ledgebuster Single Willow Blade

Regardless of the brand you choose, replace the skirts with Lumaflex

Revenge

I looked at these and I am definitely going to try one in the blue gill pattern. These look so good for the price. Maybe too good.

I am going to try a couple booyahs, war eagles, and a revenge spinner. I'll report back with what I like!

Thank you! I am seriously considering a strike back. I don't need one for deeper water. The fish seem to like the shallow running baits right now. I threw one because I noticed bait fish jumping but I couldn't see the bass blowing up on them so I threw a spinnerbait and wham one after another.

My all time favorite is a pro clacker, impossible to find locally. Do a search you'll find it, its the weirdest spinner you'll ever see. Perfect for stained water

My favs are the war eagle screaming eagle in white with gold blades.

I've had good luck with terminator and strike king. The war eagle ones look really good and are popular but I have yet to try them.

Take a look at the spinner baits from Chris at Northstar. I caught my largemouth pb on a hidden weight spinner bait. Good quality hooks & very durable. They are a sponsor on this site.
