Busy Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I have an iPhone and have been looking at Fishing Log Applications. Something that automatically records weather and moon phase with entries would be great. Has anyone tried these apps and what do you prefer? I've looked mainly at the Strike King, Jimmy Houston, and MyFishingPattern apps. I really like the idea that Real Fishin has but it would be great if you could do it on the spot! Quote
Super User Darren. Posted September 21, 2012 Super User Posted September 21, 2012 There are plenty to choose from. I like the weather-related apps, each of which allow you to take pix and chronicle your catches. Fish Cal (iTunes link) Fishing Deluxe (iTunes link) ScoutLook Fish Log (iTunes link) Of those, I use the first two more often. And by "more often" I mean only to check the best fishing times. I fell out of the logging my catches thing a while back. If you can keep it up, it is a great tool. Quote
GoTakeANap Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 i use the jimmy houston app. its pretty decent. has moon phases on it as well. Quote
