Hydrilla

Any tips for fishing in heavy hydrilla? My local lake is loaded with it and Im having trouble fising through it.

Get out the big boy broomstick rod, 80 lb braid, big flippin hooks, 1 1/2 oz tungsten, and hold on. Get right up in there with the big nasty

Take a paddle in the boat with you to use when you are in the middle of a weed bed. Number one it won't scare the fish like a motor will, and number two, you don't want that stuff wrapped around your prop.
