I have a Citica 200G 5.5:1 that I finally got on a cranking rod. Yesterday, the 3rd time I took it out, I made a cast and the side plate popped out and I lost 2 of the brake weights. Now when I try to put the side plate back on it does not fit flush and the open/close knob does not turn all the way. I don't know a whole lot about the inside workings of reel mechanics but I'm hoping this is an easy fix that I can take care of. Thankfully it is still under warranty so I can send it in, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. Thanks!

Take it back to the store you bought it from and exchange it. If it was BPS, they should not have a problem if it wasnt purchased too long ago.

Arv,

Back the cast control cap off about half way.

Everything should go back together smoothly then..:Victory:

Easy enough. Fit back together like a hand in a glove and locked up nice and tight. Thanks RM!
