Arv Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I have a Citica 200G 5.5:1 that I finally got on a cranking rod. Yesterday, the 3rd time I took it out, I made a cast and the side plate popped out and I lost 2 of the brake weights. Now when I try to put the side plate back on it does not fit flush and the open/close knob does not turn all the way. I don't know a whole lot about the inside workings of reel mechanics but I'm hoping this is an easy fix that I can take care of. Thankfully it is still under warranty so I can send it in, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. Thanks! Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted September 18, 2012 Super User Posted September 18, 2012 Take it back to the store you bought it from and exchange it. If it was BPS, they should not have a problem if it wasnt purchased too long ago. Quote
Super User .RM. Posted September 18, 2012 Super User Posted September 18, 2012 Arv, Back the cast control cap off about half way. Everything should go back together smoothly then.. Quote
